Walmart to raise tobacco sales age to 21

Walmart has announced that, beginning July 1, it will no longer sell tobacco products to anyone under the age of 21. The change apples to their stores and Sam’s Club. They also announced that they are phasing out the sale of fruit and dessert flavored e-cigarettes.

Walmart and other retailers have been under scrutiny by the FDA for violation of laws prohibiting the sale of tobacco to minors.
