Lincoln County Youth Leadership Training Camp is a full three day interactive camp that will equip students with the knowledge, skills, and abilities to prevent harm caused by substance abuse in Lincoln County. Camp will be instructed by professionally trained youth advocacy personnel from New Hampshire. Campers will receive dynamic informative trainings and be provided the opportunity to use what they have learned from camp and set it into real action within the community. Examples of past actions this camp has performed within the community are, radio public service announcements, presentations to the media, and a rally performed in downtown North Platte. Also, this camp is an excellent springboard to our free summer programs, these programs build on what the students learned at camp to continue to grow their knowledge base and leadership skills. Finally, this camp offers the perfect balance of thorough instruction, community engagement, and fun with friends.
